Marine Measurement Forum – MMF
Watermark Communications supporting the Marine Measurement Forum
Watermark Communications provides communications and marketing support to the Marine Measurement Forum, working alongside the community to help amplify engagement around the events.
About MMF70
Marine Measurement Forum is a not-for-profit forum series that brings together the marine measurement and ocean technology community to share advances in sensing, instrumentation, and data, and to foster collaboration across industry and research.
MMF continues the forum’s long-running tradition of convening specialists from across the marine science and technology sector. MMF70, featured here, was delivered in collaboration with its host Ocean Business, where the event explored themes at the intersection of ocean innovation and space-enabled capability, under the framing of “space meets sea”.
The programme brought together expert speakers and organisations including the European Space Agency, National Oceanography Centre, Fugro, alongside industry participants including RS Aqua, Sonardyne International, Teledyne Marine, Online Oceans, National Hydrographic Office, and OceanWise.
Communications role
Watermark Communications supports MMF by helping shape and deliver pre-event and event communications, focusing on clear, targeted messaging for the marine measurement community. Activity included amplifying the forum’s core themes, to ensure MMF is positioned as a key gathering point for technical insight and cross-sector exchange, while maintaining the forum’s not-for-profit, community-led ethos.
Series-wide engagement
Across the MMF series, Watermark Communications’ involvement reflects a consistent communications partnership approach, supporting continuity of messaging, audience engagement, and sector visibility from one forum to the next.
Governance and community involvement
Alongside its communications role, Watermark Communications is also represented within the forum’s governance structure, with Hannah Kent Colls serving on the MMF Steering Group, contributing to the strategic direction and continuity of the series.
