About Hannah
Watermark’s Founder, Hannah Kent Colls, began her career as a Yacht Broker, selling yachts and motorboats from the Hamble to a UK and European customer base.

Having worked inhouse with Marina Marbella (SeaRay and Ferretti) and trained with ABYA, Hannah swiftly evolved into a freelance boat sales agent, selling high net worth boats supporting brokerages from their sales sites, and also at events such as Monaco Boat Show, and Southampton Boat Show.
A keen sailor who had extensively raced both domestically and internationally, Hannah was honoured to be invited to compete with the Australian Women’s Sailing Team, with a particular highlight racing in the World Keelboat Championships in Auckland Harbour.
Following this brief sabbatical, Hannah returned to yacht brokerage where she worked with Network Yacht Brokers and launched Quest Yacht Brokers and Innovatia Marketing, selling boats and supporting business’ marketing, publicity, and events.
Hannah also held several long-term inhouse roles at maritime companies, including longstanding appointments as Global Head of Marketing for the Peters & May group, and Head of Communications for the Seawork International commercial marine exhibition, which was offered to her following a successful six month social media project delivered to Mercator Media, which owns the Seawork brand.
Demand for her unique agencyside and inhouse professional skillsets inspired Hannah to launch Watermark Communications; offering fully encompass marketing, public relations, digital communications, event management, business strategy, and stakeholder engagement to high value consumers and B2B.
Generally regarded by her clients as being integral to their management teams, Hannah is equally at home with Watermark’s clients planning strategy in their board rooms, or on a hands-on capacity running a busy press office team, conducting interviews and curating content. Hannah is an enthusiastic and active supporter of decarbonisation initiatives, maritime innovations, and championing the next generation of mariners.
